Happy 2007

Champagne in the binding..thats how we roll!!
Ya-we set the New Year off right! Ben invited us to Moonlight Basin's first torch light parade!!! Sky and I hadn't done that since Sugarbush-it was a blast with beers and champagne in one hand and a torch in the other coming down the run with a crowd to meet us at the base, followed by a sweet fireworks show. We ended the night down the mountain for the grand event at 12am at our buddies condo (actually the same condo Ben lived at last winter -where we spent last New Years). There was exploding champagne and of course when it comes to our buddies who work lift maintenance there must always be something to blow up! These guys always have explosives around-so we blew up a small african drum they had lying around! After all the festivities were winding down Sky and I hiked home. We were still in our snowgear so we trudged through a field to get to the road to home-it was a clear night for our new year and it was kinda nice to start the year with a walk home with my honey in our gear all buzzed up!!!!! Here's to a great year!
